Getting involved with UNC Pauper Players is easier than you may think. We are always looking for people to help. No experience necessary!

Performance Opportunities

Pauper Players produces at least two full-scale musical theater productions per year as well as a musical review in the spring. All UNC-CH students are welcome to audition for our shows, regardless of experience level! Specific audition information can be found in the “Auditions” section of our site.

Directing Opportunities

Anyone interested in directing should present a proposal to the administrative board. Calls for proposals will be posted on this page and our social media platforms. Anyone can propose or apply to direct a Pauper Production!

Technical Opportunities

Anyone interested in working behind the scenes of a Pauper Production should contact Emma Clements, Executive Director of Production, at pauperinfo@gmail.com. We are always searching for individuals interested in lighting design, costume design, sound design, set design, set construction, make-up design, and running crew. NO EXPERIENCE IS NECESSARY!

Administrative Opportunities

At the end of each spring semester we open applications for individuals who are interested in serving on our Executive Board. There are various positions available on our branches (Production, Outreach, Treasury, and Publicity). If you have any questions concerning the duties assigned to any of these jobs, please contact the current Executive Board member in that position.
