Mamma Mia
Mamma Mia! is based on the songs of ABBA, a Swedish pop/dance group active from 1972 to 1982 and one of the most popular international pop groups of all time. Centering around the themes of family and love, the show follows Sophie, soon to be married, as she steals her mother’s diary to invite three men she’s never met to her wedding, believing one of these men must be her father.
Mamma Mia! will be performed in The Carrboro ArtsCenter, April 4th-7th. Tickets are available online here for $10. Tickets will be sold in the pit to students for $8 from April 1st-5th.
