Sofia Alba (Young Bonnie)

Sofia Alba is a freshman at UNC and she is pumped to be in her first production with UNC Pauper Players. Her favorite credits include Lady Larken in Panther Creek High School’s Once Upon and Mattress and Cinderella in Raleigh Little Theatre’s Into the Woods. She would like to thank her twin sister for studying until the depths of dawn with her after rehearsals, and supporting her throughout the entire process!

 

Scott Amaranto (Frank Hamer, Ensemble)

Scott is a Freshman at UNC and is excited to perform in his first college show! Since 8th grade, Scott’s been doing shows and they help him feel alive. Before he’s played in Guys and Dolls (Sky Masterson), The Fantasticks (Mortimer), Bye Bye Birdie (Harry MacAffee), Annie (Drake / Ensemble), and Godspell (Judas).

 

Leah Brooks (Music Director)

Leah Brooks is a sophomore at UNC who is thrilled to be involved in her third production with UNC Pauper Players! At UNC she has been seen as Rapunzel in Into the Woods and in the ensemble of Rocky Horror. She has previously music directed Aladdin Jr. with CBTC and has loved having the opportunity to MD on the collegiate level. A huge shout out to the incredible cast, the kick ass female prod. staff, her lovely counterpart Marika, and her loving family who supports her in all she does! “Enjoy the show!”

 

Grace Callaghan (Sherriff Smoot, Ensemble)

Grace is a sophomore exchange student from Australia. She is a dramatic art major and is excited to be part of the wonderful Bonnie & Clyde cast during her time at UNC. It has definitely been a highlight of her year and now she can do an American accent! Thanks y’all.

 

Kayley Carpenter (Cumie Barrow, Ensemble)

Kayley Carpenter is a sophomore at UNC studying dramatic art and journalism. She has previously performed with the UNC Pauper Players Performance Troupe and is thrilled to be portraying Cumie in her first collegiate mainstage production. She would like to thank her friends and family for always supporting her in her artistic endeavors and the production staff for all of the talent and effort that has gone into this show.

 

Hunter Cates (Bob Alcorn, Teller, Ensemble)

Hunter is a junior at UNC and is overjoyed to be in his sixth production with the UNC Pauper Players. He has previously appeared in In the Heights, Chicago, The Rocky Horror Picture Show, and in Company Carolina’s production of Pippin! He would like to thank his personal chef for keeping him alive, his housemates for keeping him a secret, and CATS the musical for consistently serving bops. He hopes that you all enjoy the show!

 

Tallulah Cloos (Guitar)

Tallulah Cloos is a freshman at UNC. She’s a native of Asheville, NC and enjoys jamming with friends and building cigar box guitars in her free time. This is her first ever production.

 

Rajeev Dutta (Drums)

Raj is a first year at UNC, and studies Neuroscience and Music. He learned to play drum music approximately one week ago, and is excited to take part in his first production in Pauper Players! He thanks the wonderful cast and staff for their patience and encouragement.

 

Aubree Dixon (Emma, Ensemble)

Aubree is a sophomore at UNC who is sooooo excited to be in her first main-stage production with UNC Pauper Players. Some previous shows you probably didn’t see her in are For Colored Girls (Lady in Orange), Me Too Monologues, The Wolves (#11), and The Rocky Horror Picture Show (Ensemble). She would like to thank her friends and family for always indulging in her theater habits, and the cast, crew, and production staff for dealing with her crazy schedule and being amazing people!

 

Spencer Ellis (Clyde Barrow)

Spencer Ellis is a Freshman at UNC who is absolutely thrilled to play Clyde with UNC Pauper Players! Spencer was most recently seen in Sweeney Todd (Toby), The Hunchback of Notre Dame (Captain Phoebus), and Les Miserables (Inspector Jevert). He would like to thank the Production Staff for this opportunity, as well as his family and teachers for their support and help.

 

Hannah Fatool (Assistant Director)

Hannah Fatool is a first year student at UNC who is ecstatic to be working on her first Pauper Players’ production! She would like to thank her incredible mother, the unstoppable cast and production staff of Bonnie and Clyde, and Nathan Lane for getting her to where she is today.

 

Gian Gibboney (Ensemble)

Gian Gibboney is a first-year at UNC, and is very excited to be in his first Pauper Players production! He went to Cardinal Gibbons High School, where he appeared in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (Joseph), Into the Woods (Steward), and Pippin (Ensemble). He would like to thank everyone involved with the production for all their hard work, as well as his friends and family for supporting him.

 

Abigail Hall (Fiddle)

Abigail is a sophomore student pursuing a dual major in biology and chemistry. Although she played for musicals in high school, this is her first Pauper production.

 

Carla Hardy (Conductor)

Carla Hardy is a junior public policy major here at UNC. This is Carla’s sixth production with the UNC Pauper Players. Most recently, she assistant directed Pauper’s Rocky Horror (fall 2018) and produced Pauper’s Into the Woods (spring 2018). She also serves as the social coordinator for Pauper and would probably do anything for this student organization. She would like to thank the purple house for being the best home she could ask for and newly elected NC Supreme Court Justine Anita Earls for keeping our courts fair and impartial.

 

Gabby Hubert (Ensemble)

Gabby is a junior at UNC studying Public Policy and English. She made her UNC ensemble debut in Company Carolina’s The Producers before performing in the ensemble of The Rocky Horror Picture Show last year and joining the Pauper Performance Troupe (ensemble). She likes the ensemble because she gets to wear a costume but doesn’t have to remember lines. She would like to thank the hardworking prod staff and cast of Bonnie and Clyde for making this such a fun and rewarding experience.

 

Anne Frances Jarrell (Banjo)

Anne Frances is a sophomore at UNC, and Bonnie and Clyde is her first Pauper Players production. She is having lots of fun playing with the pit and wants to thank the production staff for contacting her about this fantastic opportunity, and Carla for being an awesome conductor!

 

Campbell Kargo (Blanche Barrow)

Campbell is a sophomore English major at UNC. She is very excited to be in her first production with Pauper Players as Blanche in Bonnie and Clyde. She has previously appeared as Catherine in Company Carolina’s Pippin and Nadine in Company Carolina’s The Wild Party, and her favorite role she has played to date is Sebastian in The Little Mermaid at her high school. She would like to thank Elizabeth Wheless for being perfect and Leah Brooks for being the best, and also her parents and dog, Sassy, for being her biggest fans.

 

Matthew Keith (Ted Hinton)

Matthew Keith is a sophomore at UNC who is so excited to be a part of this show. This is his third production with the UNC Pauper Players. He has previously played Rapunzel’s Prince in Into the Woods and Brad Majors in The Rocky Horror Picture Show. He would like to thank the amazing production team for helping make this show a smooth and fun process and his amazing castmates for their constant energy and enthusiasm. This group of people has encouraged and helped him to want to perform at my best each and every day. He is very thankful to have the opportunity to be in this show.

 

Amanda Kessler (Stage Manager)

Amanda is a senior Psychology major and Dramatic Arts and Neuroscience double minor. This is her 9th (wow) show with UNC Pauper Players. Amanda has been an actor in Rocky Horror Picture Show for all four years of college and was stage manager for Cabaret, In the Heights, Chicago, and Bridal Party of Five. Amanda is also Pauper’s social media correspondent so make sure you go follow @uncpauper for some lit tweets. She would like to thank the entire cast and crew for all their hard work – especially her co-SM, Kelly!

 

Alexis Kirby (Ensemble)

Alexis is a senior at UNC who is ecstatic to be in her first production with UNC Pauper Players! She would like to thank all of those involved in Bonnie & Clyde for their hard work and dedication to this show!

 

Will Leitch (Henry Barrow, Ensemble)

Will is a Senior at UNC double majoring in Political Science and European Studies. This is his 10th production with the UNC Pauper Players, and he is excited to spend senior year performing with this wonderful group. Previously, Will has served in several production staff roles and as an actor in past Pauper productions such as Into the Woods (Director), Chicago (Producer), In the Heights (Producer), Rocky Horror (Producer, Choreographer, Eddie), Broadway Melodies 2017: Growing Pains (Director), Broadway Melodies 2016: Falling (Actor), and Spring Awakening (Actor).

 

Andrew Linden (Preacher)

Andrew Linden is a sophomore at Chapel Hill. He has previously performed with Pauper in Into the Woods. He would like to than his girlfriend Kayla Brown, his family, his friends, and Danny DeVito for existing.

 

Bea Manaligod (Deputy Johnson, Ensemble)

Bea Manaligod is a sophomore who is super pumped to be in her first main stage musical at UNC! She has recently appeared in Company Carolina’s Our Place and Pauper Players’ Performance Troupe and will soon be appearing in LAB!’s 30 Plays in 60 Minutes. Special thanks to student theatre and her best pals for making her the happiest lil nerd on campus.

 

Abby McNaughton (Eleanor, Ensemble)

Abby is a freshman from Cary, NC and is so happy to be a part of Bonnie & Clyde! Her previous roles include Penny Sycamore in You Can’t Take It With You, Evangeline Harcourt in Anything Goes, and Grace Fryer in Radium Girls. When she’s not in rehearsal, you can probably find her getting attacked by mosquitoes outside, hugging people, or triumphantly buying $3 shoes at Goodwill. She would like to say thanks to her family and friends for making every day wonderful, and to the theater community at UNC for truly being a place that welcomes everyone.

 

Sara McCauley (Producer)

Sara McCauley is a junior majoring in everything. A first time producer, Sara previously stage managed Chicago and the Pauper Performance Troupe, and been on stage as Columbia in The Rocky Horror Picture Show. When she isn’t at rehearsal, you can find her teaching and taking hot yoga classes and watching Adobe Illustrator tutorials on YouTube. Sara gives every single one of her thanks to Bailey Elrod.

 

Jacob Messer (Buck Barrow)

Jacob is a freshman at UNC and is excited be a part of his first production with UNC Pauper Players. Some of his favorite past productions and roles include Bye Bye Birdie (Mayor), Hello, Dolly (Rudolph), and The Addams Family (Uncle Fester). He would like to thank the amazing Bonnie and Clyde production staff for bringing this show together.

 

Sarah Moore (Trish, Ensemble)

Sarah Moore is a junior political science and history major at UNC and is so grateful to be spending her limited free time with UNC Pauper Players for the third semester in a row! She has previously appeared in Bridal Party of Five (Cathy) and as a member of Performance Troupe. She would like to thank the entire cast and production staff for their dedication to making this process a beautiful experience.

 

Marika O’Hara (Music Director)

Marika O’Hara is a junior music major with minors in dramatic art and public relations. This is her fifth (!) show with UNC Pauper Players, having previously worked on Cabaret and Growing Pains as music director and Chicago and Into the Woods as a producer. She would like to thank the cast and her fellow prod staff members for their hard work on the show and her family for their support.

 

Hannah Olguin (Costume Designer)

Hannah Olguin is a senior studying studio art at UNC. She recently became involved with Pauper Players as the costume designer for their Fall 2017 production of The Rocky Horror Picture Show, co-costumed designed for Into the Woods this past Spring, and is excited to be co-costuming her second main stage show, Bonnie and Clyde. She would like to thank her friends and family for fueling her creative drive, and Pauper Players for the opportunity to make more art.

 

Kaylan Privette (Clarinet)

This is Kaylan’s first show with UNC Pauper Players! She loves theatre and is thrilled for this show. She would like to thank her family, Cara and Sara Kate for their unwavering support.

 

Olivia Morgan Vines (Stella, Governor Ferguson, Ensemble)

Olivia Vines is a sophomore at UNC who is ecstatic to be in her first full-scale production with Pauper Players! She is also a proud member of the Pauper Performance Troupe. Some of Olivia’s favorite prior roles include Elle Woods in Legally Blonde, Carmen Berstein in Curtains, and Grace in Cinderella. She is grateful for the constant support of her family and brothers and sisters in Christ, as well as the Lord for filling her lungs with breath each morning.

 

Sylvia Wang (Keyboard 1)

Sylvia Wang is a freshman at UNC who has never played with other people before! She’s thrilled to be part of Pauper Players as an avid fan of musical theater since birth. She would like to thank everyone working in Pauper Players for being awesome people and helping her transition to working with others musically.

 

Elizabeth Wheless (Bonnie Parker)

Elizabeth is a freshman at UNC and this is her first production with UNC Pauper Players. She has previously been in The Addams Family Musical (Wednesday) and Rock of Ages (Sherrie). She would like to thank Jacob, Kayley, and Anna for being so supportive, caring and encouraging and a special thanks to the wonderful cast and crew who have made her feel like she’s found a home with Pauper.

 

Eloise Williams (Ensemble)

Eloise Williams is a first year at UNC who is ecstatic to be in her first ever Pauper Players production! She has previously participated in Raleigh Charter High School shows both on- and offstage. Eloise would like to thank the lovely production staff of Bonnie & Clyde for making this experience possible.

 

Kelly Wygant (Stage Manager)

Kelly Wygant is a sophomore at UNC and is thrilled to be working on her first Pauper Production! She has loved theater for as long as she can remember and would like to thank her amazing co stage manager Amanda for being her mentor!
Yiwen Yin (Clarinet)
Yiwen Yin is a freshman at UNC and this is her first production with Pauper Players. She has previously played clarinet in the pit for her high school’s productions of Hello, Dolly!, Guys and Dolls, and Sister Act. She is a member of the wind ensemble here at UNC and has loved working with the cast and crew for Bonnie & Clyde!
